Clarity Productions "The Walking Wounded" nominated in the 31st Celtic Media Festival Awards 2010

"The Walking Wounded", by producer/director Stephen Bennett, has been nominated for Best Factual Single in the 31st Celtic Media Festival Awards which take place in April 2010.

For the last 30 years, the Celtic Media Festival has promoted film-making talent and excellence from the Celtic countries of Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall and Brittany. From over 400 entries, Clarity Productions' observational documentary "The Walking Wounded" has been nominated for Best Factual Single. The Awards take place in Northern Ireland in April 2010.

"The Walking Wounded" takes an emotionally charged and uncompromising look at the experiences of young former soldiers as they adapt to civilian life. Broadcast on BBC Scotland in September 2009, the film was Critics Choice/TV Pick of the Day in The Scotsman, The Sun, The Daily Record, The Sunday Herald and The Sunday Mail. Select reviews include: "A powerful documentary....an uncompromising, moving and occasionally chilling insight into the fear and frustration felt by three veterans" (The Sunday Herald); and "a heartbreaking, troubling documentary....a powerful depiction of despair and neglect" (The Scotsman).
