Clarity Productions wins More4 'True Stories' commission for "After the Apocalypse"

Directed by Antony Butts and produced by Sarah Tierney, "After the Apocalypse" has been commissioned for More4's international documentary strand 'True Stories' for transmission in 2010.

"After the Apocalypse" aims to reveal the on-going legacy for communities living in the shadow of the largest nuclear experiment in history... Filmed and directed by Antony Butts, produced by Sarah Tierney and Executive Produced by George Carey, "After the Apocalypse" has been developed through the EURODOC International Producers Programme 2006, the Sheffield Doc/Fest MeetMarket 2007 and the BRITDOC/Sundance Documentary Institute Good Pitch 2009. The film was also awarded the CBA/DFID Programme Development Grant in 2006.

"After the Apocalypse" has now been commissioned by More4, for its True Stories strand: "Bringing together compelling stories from across the globe, the strand showcases documentaries from acclaimed international filmmakers". The film will transmit in 2010.
