"Christmas with Dad" screening as part of a special programme of Scottish Shorts at Sleepwalkers 2009

Award-winning and BIFA-nominated short documentary "Christmas with Dad" continues its international distribution with selection to Sleepwalkers 2009 in Estonia.

The 10th Student and Short Film Festival Sleepwalkers will take place from the 12th to 15th November 2009 in the Estonian capital Tallinn. This year, over 600 shorts were submitted from around the world.

"Christmas with Dad" is screening as part of the Special Programme 'Focus: Scottish Shorts' which takes place on Saturday 14th (6pm) and Sunday 15th November (2pm). It screens alongside six other Scottish short films, including award-winning "Dog Altogether", and is the only documentary in the group.

"Christmas with Dad" has screened internationally and picked up several awards, and its currently nominated as Best British Short Film in the British Independent Films Awards 2009. The documentary is directed by Conor McCormack and produced by Sarah Tierney, funded through Scottish Screen/Scottish Documentary Institute 'Bridging the Gap' scheme which has recently re-opened for applications for 2010.
