Clarity Productions has two films selected for the 13th Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival 2009

Matthew Lloyd's creative documentary "Pollphail" and Conor McCormack's award-winning "Christmas with Dad" have been selected to the 13th Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival in the Czech Republic.

The Jihlava International Documentary Festival "...has become the greatest event of its kind in Central Europe for creative documentary". The festival runs annually in conjunction with the East European Forum, showcasing work from around the world.

"Pollphail" and "Christmas with Dad" will be presented in the section 'Short Joy': "Jihlava IDFF presents creative documentary films that have a specific author's view and seek new aesthetic and narrative ways of cinematographic expression".

Directed by Matthew Lloyd and produced by Carina Wilson, "Pollphail" begins its film festival distribution this month at the Times BFI 53rd London Film Festival and the 13th Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival, followed by the 7th World Film Festival of Bangkok and the 7th Inverness Film Festival in November 2009.

Directed by Conor McCormack and produced by Sarah Tierney, award-winning documentary "Christmas with Dad" continues its international film festival success with additional screenings at the 28th Uppsala International Short Film Festival, VISCULT 2009 and the Branchage Jersey International Film Festival this month, and the 35th International Filmets Festival of Badalona in November 2009.
