Matthew Lloyd and Carina Wilson's Pollphail selected to the 7th Inverness Film Festival 2009

Following its premier at the Times BFI 53rd London Film Festival 2009, creative documentary "Pollphail" is to screen at the 7th Inverness Film Festival 2009.
Directed by Matthew Lloyd, produced by Carina Wilson and Exec Produced for Clarity Productions by Sarah Tierney, "Pollphail" explores the imagined future of a village-in-limbo, built to great acclaim and expense during the 1970s oil boom, but never inhabited. Combining an unusual use of 'minds-eye' archive with stunning photography and a haunting soundscape, "Pollphail" unravels this unique and unsettling story to reveal a very different reality than that which was planned for the village, and clashing ideals about how its future should now play out...
"Pollphail" will premier at the Times BFI 53rd London Film Festival 2009, and has also been selected to the 7th World Film Festival of Bangkok in November 2009. The 7th Inverness Film Festival takes place from the 11th to 15th November 2009.
