Award-winning "Christmas with Dad" screening in-competition at HotDocs

Conor McCormack and Sarah Tierney's short documentary "Christmas with Dad" screening in the International Spectrum at prestigious HotDocs: Canadian International Documentary Festival 2009

HotDocs is North America's largest documentary festival, conference and market. Each year the Festival presents a selection of cutting-edge documentaries from around the globe. From a record 1948 film submissions, this year's Hot Docs will present 171 titles from 39 countries in 10 screening programs.

The International Spectrum is a competition programme “…showcasing the best of documentary filmmaking...a diverse blend of exceptional documentaries…offering viewers provocative glimpses into the world around them…”. Of the 30 titles in the International Spectrum program, 20 are feature-length, seven are mid-length and just three are shorts.

"Christmas with Dad" is screening with Samantha Bucks "21 Below" (USA) on Wednesday 6th May at 9.15pm at the Cumberland 3 venue, and Friday 8th May at 4:00pm at the ROM Theatre.
