Clarity Productions wins '3 Minute Wonder' commission from Channel 4

Clarity Productions and director R F Simpson have been commissioned to produce a series of short documentaries on the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2009

Commissioned for the new talent strand '3 Minute Wonders' on Channel 4, this series of four short documentaries will profile new and established artists applying for and exhibiting in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2009.

Held every year without interruption since 1769, the RA Summer Exhibition attracts around 10,000 entries each year, making it the largest open contemporary art exhibition in the world.

The series is directed by R F Simpson and produced by Sarah Tierney, with transmission scheduled for June 2009.

Clarity Productions previous work for the '3 Minute Wonders' strand includes BAFTA-winning "Losing Myself" revealing the personal experiences of individuals with profound dementia and "The Estate", a 16-part series about community and regeneration transmitting this summer.
