Help us complete "Shelter in Place" on IndieGoGo

Short documentary "Shelter in Place" by award-winning photojournalist Zed Nelson is seeking completion funds through social marketplace IndieGoGo

Each year the Texan petro-chemical industry is permitted to release millions of tons of toxic pollutants into the air, plus thousands of tons more in 'accidental' or 'unscheduled' releases. "Shelter in Place" is an intimate portrait of one fence-line community, sharing their neighbourhood with some of the largest refineries in the world, and how this impacts their daily lives.

The documentary is directed by award-winning photojournalist Zed Nelson, produced by Hannah Patterson and Exec Produced by Sarah Tierney for Clarity Productions. "Shelter in Place" was awarded the Short Pitch Prize at BritDoc last year. We are now looking for additional funding to complete the film to the highest standard and have decided to place the project on the social marketplace, IndieGoGo. Individual funders can contribute directly to the film's budget and get a range of rewards in return from Associate Producer credits all the way through to DVDs and badges...
